Independently-owned and fully self-financed, our Group is one of the best-capitalised private banks in the world. “Rethink Everything” is our philosophy – our agile responses to changing economic and political conditions have delivered over 224 years of stability, through 40 financial crises.Your role is to assist the Region Head in insuring there is a robust control environment within the market, in line with internal directives and risk appetite:Operational Risk ManagementRaise risk awareness in the market by promoting and supporting a culture of high sensitivity to Engage with risk owners, control owners and risk specialists to dynamically update business Risk Control Service Assessments (RCSAs) once per year and ensure these embrace all material risks alongside all key controls performed by business and functions. This exercise is to be run coordination with Operational Risk Management (2nd line of defense) ;Develop risk dashboard and reports pertaining to the market and communicate them to the Operational Risk Management. Raise any concerning issues to the 2nd line of defense and relevant risk specialists ;Follow-up incidents and monitor them in the internal dedicated tool (Quality Risk). Support the users in the root cause analysis and ensure that improvements measures are adequately defined, monitored, tracked and implemented ;Undertake monitoring and develop internal control plan to ensure that 1st line controls are adequately defined and performed ;Establish clear responsibility/ownership for the competency graph within the market ;Ensure that proper controls are in place for the Internal Accounts attached to the market.Business Risk Management – Market LevelReview results of controls performed by central BRM CP (i.e. call backs, payment instructions) ;Follow-up and feedback collection on remediation across CP (e.g. MyLO, Fatca, Suitability, dormant accounts, accounts at zero, etc.) ;Quarterly review of the KRIs provided by the central BRM CP for management information ;Follow-up on actions from audit points ;Adhoc reviews on the business processes and activities (at Market Head’s request) ;Deal with operational incidents across the market ;Support the access management process to ensure the “need to know” principle is respected (e.g. validate sensitive accesses/activities such as, phone recordings, mobility solution, remote accesses, review access rights requests to sensitive applications, recertify access rights to sensitive applications within your market (twice a year), ensure accesses are properly amended during internal transfers and review exceptions when necessary ;Review and challenge exception requests ;Perform clear desk checks (twice a year).Business ManagementMaintain the Business Continuity Management (BCM) documentation and update it at least once per year ;Follow up, address and escalate where necessary internal/external audit issues ;Interact with key stakeholders in the context of ongoing projects, participate and involve key parties to new business initiatives ;Support Business partner activities in various recurrent topics.ProfileExperience of 5 years minimum in the banking industry, experience with Internal Audit / Internal Control / Business Risk Management, an advantageGood understanding of operational processes pertaining to Private Clients, KYC, client documentation, tax related topicsStrong experience in control testing necessaryAn experience in Risk Control Self-Assessment, an advantageAble and willing to work in a fast-paced, pressured and demanding environmentStrong organisation and communication skills (stakeholders include Senior Management, Bankers, Assistants, Risk Managers, Compliance, Legal…)Fluent in French and English (written and oral); additional languages, an advantageSwiss domiciledIf you recognise yourself in this description, then please do apply.
